DESIGN / DIALOGUE by Ark Journal
DESIGN
During 3daysofdesign 2025 DESIGN / DIALOGUE by Ark Journal came together in an exclusive showcase, celebrating design, creative collaborations and craftsmanship. With over twenty international and Danish brands, artists and designers represented, the exhibition, curated by the team behind Ark Journal in collaboration with stylist Pernille Vest, exemplified visionary design.
The raw industrial architecture of Pakhus 11 in Copenhagen’s beautiful Nordhavn district became a setting for inspiration and exchange, where exhibitions, talks, and activations unfolded across its light-filled spaces.
Highlights included the serene Time & Style installation, BassamFellows’ striking exhibition modelled on Philip Johnson’s New Canaan Glass House, and Ark Kollekt’s new sculptural collection. Around them, a curated constellation of international brands and designers presented their work: Bieke Casteleyn, Brandt Copenhagen, cc-tapis, Designs of the Time, E15, Font Design Group, Imcollective, Kalmar Werkstätten, Maison Rhizomes, MDF Italia, Saas Instruments, Studio Vraco, Toni Copenhagen, Un’common, Venicem, Wa/ter, and Atelier matic.
Beyond exhibitions, the event thrived on conversation. Visionary talks and intimate sessions brought together voices from Time & Style, OEO Studio, Snøhetta, David Thulstrup, MDF Italia, and cc-tapis while activations from yoga mornings to vibrant afternoons by the waterfront expanded the experience into community and atmosphere.
Design / Dialogue 2025 embodied a living dialogue where global and emerging talents met, and where the stories of design were as present as the objects themselves.
Returning for its third edition, during 3daysofdesign 2026, Design Dialogue continues its mission to validate and elevate new perspectives in design, spanning the disciplines of craft, object design, interior design, and decorative arts. By embracing both established names and emerging talents, Design Dialogue aims to deliver a showcase of global creativity and forward-thinking design.

SPATIAL GESTURES
The wearable objects Yuta Ishihara makes under the moniker Shihara play tricks on us. “The hardware is in focus, incorporated into the design itself,” says Ishihara.
LAKE COME DESIGN FESTIVAL 2025
The city of Como once again hosted the seventh edition of the Lake Como Design Festival, under the theme Fragments. The festival invited visitors to reflect on fragmentation not as a sign of rupture, but as a catalyst for creative rebirth, for the preservation of memory, and for a regenerative approach to design.
